Light, Fog and Exploration - Photoweek: #6 2025
Weekly series highlighting what peaked my interest photographically in the last seven days.
Week commencing 3rd February 2025 saw me develop a strange fascination with light—particularly how it fell across objects and intimate scenes in our home. This led to a series of images, all taken and edited on my iPhone, which I was quite pleased with.
A foggy morning provided the perfect opportunity to take a few photos at our local park, this time using my Ricoh GR3. Later in the week, a trip into London for meetings gave me an unexpected hour to spare, so I explored the streets with my Sony in hand.
I also took my camera along for a scouting bike ride, visiting a few local churches and stumbling across a beautifully dilapidated barn in The Fens—an unexpected but welcome photographic subject.
Finally, my Sunday morning run turned into a bit of a stop-start affair, as I once again reached for my phone to capture interesting scenes that caught my eye.
All in all, an interesting week of photography. Below are some of my favourite shots from the week.

Great images Giles, I particularly like the fenland shots - they are so atmospheric.
Another good week Giles, I particularly enjoyed the light fall shots from home, well seen and executed. 👏
